A more natural way to listen

DeerEars is a browser extension and SaaS subscription. When a supported YouTube video is playing, it translates available captions into the language you select and provides natural AI voice dubbing in sync with the original video.

Native-language listening

Choose your preferred language and listen while the video continues to play in the browser.

Three voice modes

Standard Voice is included in every plan. Matched voice mode is available on Plus annual and Pro; Optimized voice mode is available on Pro within its monthly allowance.

Digital delivery

Access is provided through the browser extension and your account. No physical goods are sold.

Free experience: guest listening is limited to two minutes per session, followed by an additional eight-minute signed-in account trial. See the current Plus and Pro plans on the pricing page.

AI voice technology

DeerEars's speech playback is synthetic audio, not a human recording. Depending on the target language, voice, and availability, the service uses Alibaba Cloud Model Studio (DashScope) CosyVoice v3.5 Flash, Qwen3-TTS Flash, or Qwen Audio 3.0 TTS Flash.
