1. About these terms

These Terms of Service apply only to DeerEars, an independent, globally oriented subproduct within the 会小鹿 product family. They cover its browser extension, website pages, and related digital services available at https://www.huixiaolu.com/listen-xiaolu. The service is operated by 北京骑士快货科技有限公司 (Beijing Qishi Kuaihuo Technology Co., Ltd.), registered at 北京市朝阳区东三环中路39号院18号楼7层806, Beijing, China. By creating an account, starting a subscription, or using DeerEars, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have read and agree to these terms and the Privacy Notice, and have authority to accept them for yourself or an organization. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

DeerEars helps users listen to supported YouTube videos in a selected language by processing available captions and generating synchronized AI voice playback. It is a digital service; no physical goods are sold. Features can depend on video captions, browser permissions, network conditions, and third-party services.

3. Accounts and responsible use

• Keep your account information accurate and protect your login credentials.
• Use the service only for lawful purposes and only with content you are allowed to access. The Acceptable Use Policy lists the prohibited content categories, moderation process, reporting channel, and enforcement measures.
• Do not bypass usage limits, interfere with the service, reverse engineer it, or use it to infringe another person's rights.
• Do not use the service to download, redistribute, or publicly rebroadcast YouTube content.
• Do not use automated scraping, bulk extraction, or the service's outputs to build, train, benchmark, or improve a competing model or service without our written permission.
• Do not use the service for fraud, harassment, impersonation, unlawful surveillance, or any activity that violates applicable law or third-party platform rules.

If you suspect unauthorized account use or a security issue, contact possible2028@gmail.com promptly. If you use an account for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for it.

4. Trial and subscription

Guests may listen for two minutes per session. A signed-in non-member account receives an additional eight-minute trial, valid for seven days. The server also enforces an audio-delivery budget to protect against missing playback reports.

Waffo USD subscriptions renew at the selected tier’s displayed price and interval, plus applicable taxes, until canceled. Cancel from the billing page or Waffo customer portal; access continues to the end of the paid period. WeChat CNY purchases are prepaid for one month or one year, with no automatic debit or renewal. Existing discontinued subscriptions retain contracted prices and rights.

Optimized voice mode allowance counts server-delivered synthesized audio (including cache hits), with each delivery retry charged once. It resets at UTC+8 calendar-month boundaries, not the payment anniversary; unused allowance does not carry over. Upgrades and early renewal require customer support.

5. Payments and refunds

Waffo Pancake provides checkout, payment processing, subscription management, fraud checks, tax handling, and customer billing support as Merchant of Record where applicable. We do not need to receive or store your full card number. Our Refund Policy explains cancellations and refunds, and is also presented through the checkout where applicable. Mandatory consumer rights always apply.

6. Cancellation and billing questions

You can cancel online at any time from the account billing page or the Waffo Pancake customer portal. Cancellation stops the next renewal and does not remove access before the end of the current paid billing period. For an incorrect or duplicate charge, email possible2028@gmail.com before opening a bank dispute where possible; include the transaction email and order ID, but never send a full card number.

7. Third-party services and content

YouTube and other third-party services have their own terms, availability, and policies. DeerEars is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube. You are responsible for complying with the terms that apply to content you access.

8. Intellectual property and AI outputs

DeerEars, its software, branding, and original materials are owned by or licensed to 北京骑士快货科技有限公司. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during your permitted access period; they do not transfer ownership. You retain rights in materials you submit, and you grant us only the limited license needed to provide the requested service. We do not use your submitted captions or audio to train our models without your consent.

9. Third-party technology and AI features

DeerEars may use independent third-party hosting, translation, speech-synthesis, analytics, security, and support providers to deliver requested features. Its current speech-synthesis paths use Alibaba Cloud Model Studio (DashScope) CosyVoice v3.5 Flash, Qwen3-TTS Flash, and Qwen Audio 3.0 TTS Flash; the model is selected by target language, voice, and availability. These providers process only the information needed for their contracted function. Generated translations and speech are AI-assisted outputs, not professional advice, and should be checked when accuracy matters.

10. Acceptable use, content safety, and reporting

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. It prohibits pornography/NSFW, graphic violence or gore, hate speech, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), non-consensual deepfakes or impersonation, copyright or trademark infringement, and other unlawful or abusive use. Caption text is screened before speech generation; high-risk matches are not generated, and reports are reviewed through possible2028@gmail.com.

11. Availability and limitations

We work to keep the service useful and available, but we do not promise uninterrupted playback, caption availability, translation accuracy, or that every video or language will be supported. Generated speech and translation should be checked by you when accuracy matters.

12. Privacy

Information used to provide DeerEars is described in the Privacy Notice. The existing 会小鹿 privacy page covers the separate 会小鹿 product surface.

13. Suspension and changes

We may suspend or terminate access for serious misuse, fraud, security risk, or violation of these terms. We may update the service or these terms when reasonably necessary. For a material change, we will post notice or email account holders at least 15 days before the change takes effect where required. If a change materially affects paid use, mandatory consumer rights still apply.
